It's been a long cold winter. But Spring is finally here we have lots of activities planned for 2008. The BINGO on May 31st and Barrel Derby on June 1st were a great success once again. You can Click Here to view the official results from the 2008 Barrel Derby Fun Run. There is another BINGO planned for June 27th. The Curlew Duck Derby in the fall is quickly becoming a favorite with its combination of great prizes, Bruce's Grilled Cheeze sandwiches, French Dip and homemade soups, followed by the annual Chili Cookoff sponsord by the Ferry County Chamber of Commerce. Only 72 years after the Curlew Civic Club was formed by a group of ladies in March of 1936, we finally have a website of our own. Welcome to Curlew Civic Club (dot) Org! We hope this new presence on the World Wide Web (www) will allow our visitors to keep in touch with upcoming events and perhaps find out a little bit about the history of our organization as well as some little tidbits about the early days of Curlew and the surrounding area.
